End Times

Eschatology is the branch of theology that deals with the end times or last things. This includes topics such as death, judgment, the return of Christ, resurrection, the millennium, and the final state of humanity. Studying eschatology matters because it strengthens your faith—knowing God’s plan gives confidence and hope. Understanding end times encourages perseverance, helping us as believers to endure suffering with our eyes fixed on our eternal life (Romans 8:18). It also protects us from error, since many false teachings today exploit confusion about the end times. Finally, it shapes our worldview by helping us live with an eternal perspective and urgency for getting the good news of Jesus Christ out to the world.
